Aeonium canariense is a Canary Islands endemic that puts all its growth into a single, dramatic rosette rather than branching — unlike arboreum, which forms multiple heads on a woody stalk. Mature specimens can reach 50–80cm in diameter, making it one of the largest-rosette species in the genus.
